Homeless Services
Health Services
South Fraser Community Services Society was originally incorporated as Surrey Family Services Society in May of 1992, by James Bennett. The Society was created as a non-profit, charitable society in order to best serve the needs of the community. The Society opened its doors November 1, 1992, with two programs: Reconnect Services for Street Youth and the Street Health Outreach Program.
Today, seventeen years strong, the Society operates as many as ten programs, divied into the same two divisions of Homeless Services and Health Services, with which it began.
The Board, Management and Staff of South Fraser Community Services Society believe that all persons within the community should be afforded the opportunity to maximize their potential, through the provision of services and support when required or requested. All persons will be treated with dignity and respect regardless of age, gender, race, culture, class, sexual orientation, religious belief or any other discriminatory reason.
