Djaef Mahler Grocery

High-Protein, Supplemental Food Bank

The Djaef Mahler Grocery is a specialized high-protein food bank for residents, in the South Fraser region, living with HIV and in need of nutritional support. Residents interested in receiving support make an appointment to complete an intake and individual nutritional assessment. The food bank will support children under 18 years of age residing in the same home. As a registered Member of the food bank, individuals and their family are entitled to access other support services offered at Positive Haven.

Djaef Mahler Grocery offers food hampers once a week, except on Ministry cheque issue day. To book your intake appointment, please contact us between Monday and Friday. Food hampers include high-protein foods, in addition to other food items beneficial for proper nutrition which vary upon availability.

The Djaef Mahler Grocery is operated entirely by volunteers, and supplied through the generous donations of a number of community-based organizations and individuals.
