Housing Program

South Fraser Community Services Society’s Housing Program provides assistance and support to individuals actively looking to secure housing and break the cycle of homelessness.

Housing Workers work with clients who have been stabilized through The Front Room and Gateway Shelter Programs.  The focus is, at first, on helping the client attain and secure stable, affordable, appropriate housing. Once placed, Housing Workers assist clients with tenancy and subsidy applications, such as those to BC Housing.  Clients receive information on good tenancy practices and are coached on questions to ask prospective landlords.

Through donations and volunteer support, housing starter kits are frequently provided to help clients transition into independent living.
